ArtiFlex Manufacturing is Hiring a Payroll Administrator Near Wooster, OH
- Accurately processing company-wide payroll using ADP.
- Verify eligibility for calculation of hours worked, holiday, vacation, floating Holidays, sick and other paid time off.
- Ensuring that paid hours’ balance with earned hours.
- Process child support, garnishments, tax levies, profit sharing, 401K, pay data for Deferred Profit Sharing Retirement Plan, etc.
- Verify accuracy of quarterly tax reports for Federal, State and City governments.
- Prepare absenteeism pay reports for the bargaining unit and enforce pay eligibility guidelines.
- Prepare tax credit forms from government agencies and submit to tax auditors for processing.
- Process Verification of Employment requests, and similar.
- Comply with subpoenas for child support hearings or orders for payroll deductions in accordance with State laws.
- Prepare month-end reports as needed.
- Stay informed on new tax laws and changes in payroll system utilizing available outside sources and attending selected seminars.
- Provide information and answer employee and leader questions regarding payroll-related matters.
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the role.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Preferred background of Associate Degree in Accounting or 5 years of Payroll experience with a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certificate.
- Computer literate, including Microsoft software (Excel, Word, etc.). Strongly prefer ADP software and E-Time knowledge.
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing clearly and with tact and diplomacy to any audience inside and outside ArtiFlex
- Must have knowledge of laws that impact the payroll function.
